John, do you have a KBS?  I know Q has built several big boy conversions...  
He has one version that uses rectangular tubing connecting the roll hoops and 
pushed out a bit...

that, knowing that I may need to add a 493 to overcome this problem 8-) What 
I'm wondering is if doing this will somehow preclude me from doing road 
course lapping, or solosprints? I did check the GCR (9.4.5), and it looks as 
though it will be OK, but you people seem to know about all the little 
details.

Also, the master switch on my car is located right next to my neck (carotid 
artery) This makes me bit uncomfortable. I'm wondering if it is OK to move 
it over 3-4 inches, to the outboard side of the main roll hoop, leaving it 
at the same height as it was.
