John, I have to check the GCR, I believe the rearward brace is the optional one, and from what I remember, the master switch is suppose to be outside the car.

(Probably about 500 miles) I am led to believe that it is OK to take out the forward braces and replace them with braces that go to the rear of the car. Or, as nearly as I can tell from reading the GCR, it is OK to re-arrange the forward braces with some additional bends. Do you know if either of these options is OK Chris?
