Those are good compelling reasons. I AM older than dirt. I don't know Don
Clar so I cant say if I'm older but I will say I am retired on a fixed
income so pennies are more important to me now than when I was racing S2000
in my forties. F500 is the lowest cost way to go fast. the good part about
retirement is that I can spend all day trading in the stock market ( which
is pretty much how I financed all my road racing career) or working on the
car an attending any race I want to go to.
It is great not to have to be at work on Monday morning (or use up vacation
time) Welcome to the F500 ranks. they seem to be a great group.

Captain Eddie,
There's no reason to be gentle. I don't care enough to bothered by it.
Don't confuse my personal opinion of the noise maker with the comments I
hear OTHERS make. There's a big difference. I already own one and will be
racing it this year. Yet that adds only one person to the F500 ranks.
Why did I buy one? They're inexpensive and more importantly, I have a great
group to race and hang out with here on the left coast. Plus, I have ear
plugs.
So, you used to race front engine rail? Are you older than dirt or the just
the same age as Don Clar?
George
