The NLP was relatively free publicity for TM. It also got manypeople 
off their duffs and working in the real world. Wasn't a bad use of 
limited resources in the long run, I think. The New Age community, 
for instance, still reveres John Hagelin for running for President of 
the USA on the Enlightenment Ticket.
