For what it's worth, I'd never heard of the group
before today. Jody's website, yes, but not the
discussion group. So I went there, looked around,
and came to pretty much the same impression you
did. Not nearly enough fun being had, far too
much self being taken far too seriously. Sorta
like the group had a big highway cop waving and
saying, "Nothing to see here, folks...move along." :-)
FFL is a lot healthier, I think. You've got people
here who can diss TM and the TMO one minute and
praise it the next, and you can feel when they do
that both sentiments are 100% sincere. That, in
my opinion, is a kind of balanced point of view
after decades in a spiritual trip...*any* spiritual
trip.
