Whenever I hear something like this, I find myself

So what part of that consciousness do you believe

is based on your physical brain?

What confuses me is how time fits into all of this. This

whole concept of sequential lives is bound to space-time,

yet consciousness is not. From the perspective of

consciousness, isn't the life-Bardo-life-Bardo-life-Bardo-

life-Bardo-etc timeline purely an illusion?

Not necessarily.

It's the same conundrum that gives people fits when

they read that Buddhists believe in reincarnation,

but at the same time believe that their is no such

thing as an individual soul that could be reincarnated.

The answer, of course, is "Knowledge is structured

in consciousness." *From the point of view* of

timeless Unity, there is no time, and thus no

sequential series of incarnations. However, from

the point of view of the individual who is exper-

iencing these individual incarnations, there is.

One could say that time and reincarnation are

"illusions" and only the "ultimate" reality of

timeless Unity exists, but I don't think that's it.

The thing is, *both* exist, seamlessly, and without

the least bit of conflict. It all depends upon

where "you" stand when looking at them, and who

"you" is at the moment you choose to look.  :-)
