I've also watched women given executive situations become very ruthless
compared to their male counterparts. I would go so far to say that a
lot of the lack of ethics in corporations which have decided that lying
to their customers is okay were to an extent created by women executives
overcompensating for their position. For instance a male marketing
executive might say "I'm not going to do that because I wouldn't want
anyone to do that to me" whereas the woman marketing executive would be
more prone to say "but it will increase the bottom line and we should do
it because we can."
