I agree. I always thought they'd get much more balanced individuals on Purusha and MD if they had had some kind of program where they worked for a while, then came back to the fold. But then, of course, people might actually have begun to think for themselves--can't have that! :) Much better to have a type of indentured servitude, kept in line by fear and paid for by somebody else.
