Speaking of definitions, someday you should learn the definition of "every." :-) Only the Systran-based translators like Babelfish translate it that way. Most Spanish-English online dictionaries don't bother to translate it at all. But since my neighbor has a guest from Barcelona visiting, one who knows much of St. John's poetry by heart, he assures me that it is, in fact, translated from the Catalan as 'transcending.'
