Subject: [FairfieldLife] Re: The Night Technique - "the priority for everyone"

I have to recommend the night technique, which used to be the first
advanced technique, but was abandoned when people found it difficult
to be innocent with it. I don't always get a strong result from doing
it, but it's supposed to make the morning meditation better, and it
frequently does that -- when I have a profound experience of the
night technique, the morning meditation is quite clearly better,
clearer, more satisfying.

I agree. In 1974 Maharishi told me (in front of a group) to meditate ½ hour before bed. I’ve done it ever since, but not so much lately. When I do it, sleep is better and so is morning meditation. Usually I just do mantra meditation, but sometimes remember to do the night technique, which I got (for free) from Satyanand at Estes Park.
Is it the same as the "new" night technique?
