I have just spun about two pounds of Suffolk in anticipation of the Wool
Gathering and Natural Dye-In in September. This is an event put on by a
very wonderful member of the Friendship Spinners, a group with members
in Kentucky and southern Indiana. I'm a new member and so have not done
this before, but I have dabbled in natural dyeing on my own and am
looking forward to dyeing with this great group of people.
Over the last few months, I have also spun some purple and cobalt roving
(don't know breed) as well as some Suffolk that I KA dyed reddish purple.
