Well, Ron, and what other Swedish fiber secrets are you hiding? <g> Do share other Swedish resources with us!

I've been working with the cottolin I got at Convergence, and it makes me want to do many Swedish-style table runners :) Currently I'm winding the warp for a "Spring Tea Set" in peach, vanilla, yellow, rose, and green--will make 8 or more napkins, a table runner, and a tea cozy. These colors chase away the winter blahs, that's for sure! They make me smile just to look at the tubes.

But I also got my copy of "Sheep and Man" recently, and reading all that stuff about the development of sheep and the use of wool makes me want to rig up a warp-weighted loom and get the drop spindles out :) Not NEARLY enough information about wool for reproduction spinning/weaving, though, unfortunately--that was the main reason why I got the book. I was really counting on it <sigh>

where there isn't nearly as much snow as normal, but still enough (about 18") that I won't be seeing crocuses for a while yet (usually early April)
