About the mangle, I am not sure what the mangle is doing. Is it rolling the wool wrapped dowel back and forth? It doesn't look anything like the small mangle I own (but have no idea how to use) or the large industrial ones I have seen pictures off. They are all a series of (2-12) rollers with heat and or steam. Ann
