Jennifer,

I'm so glad your warp has wound back on evenly tensioned! I'm sure it
will be a pleasure to weave your towels now. I'm wondering why you are
planning on using a stick shuttle. It's really hard to get into a good
rhythm unless you have a boat shuttle. With 10 yards of warp on, it
will take you forever to do all this with a stick shuttle, and harder to
get nice selvedges!

Another little detail....You referred to "combing" the warp as you wound
on the first time. If you comb the warp, you are going to be messing
with the tension...the combed parts will be tighter than the
not-combed. If you have a tangle in front of the reed, it's lots better
to pick up the section with the tangle (with the tangled part between
your hands and the reed) and give it a good shake, see if you can
dislodge the tangle that way. If not, then hold that section of the
warp straight and pluck the warp lightly or else hold it up and smack it
with a stick! Don't comb if you can help it, especially on a warp this
long. Warping front to back, EVEN tension is more important than tight
tension.

Hope this makes sense!
