While I wouldn't go down the road Javier's traveling (at least not yet), I would point out (as others have) that there are degrees of bugs. And as bad as this bug is in what it does and what can't be undone, it's even worse because of the unpredictability of it's arrival.
In my experience, and evidenced by occasional posts on this list, MM's handling of Finale's problems has at times ranged from minimizing a problem's importance, to denying its existence. If Javier and Darcy reported this in recent weeks why haven't we heard some sort of warning about it from MM? While I think that Jim William's points embody a sort of "glass half empty view, I do feel that we need to have, somewhere, a frequently updated list of known issues. It should come from MM, but could conceivably be put together by a group of users like we have here. I've been working around bugs (and "features") since 1988 and plan to continue doing so, but MM providing such a list would show a bit of good faith on their part.
