Finale 2008 is so buggy I asked MakeMusic my money back or a free upgrade. They never answered me. I've been using Finale since version 2, paid a lot of money in upgrades. I am angry at MakeMusic. I bought a defective product, I think they should replace it with a good one,or give me a refund, like when you buy a defective radio... TV... but no, they couldn't care less, as long as lots of people keep buying their lousy and useless upgrades. I felt cheated and switched to Sibelius. I'll never buy another Finale upgrade. However, I still have lots of music written in Finale which I need to edit. So, here's one of the bugs I am trying to avoid:
Very often the OK and Cancel buttons do not respond to mouse or trackpad clicks on my Macbook (OS 10.5.6). Is this a common bug? Is there a way to avoid it? Something I shouldn't do? Drives me nuts., if anyone has a suggestion, I am listening.
