Click the title bar of the db after you click the button. This is
Apple's fault not MM's this time. It's an OS bug that Apple
acknowledged. Dunno when it'll be fixed.

Very often the OK and Cancel buttons do not respond to mouse or
trackpad clicks on my Macbook (OS 10.5.6). Is this a common bug? Is
there a way to avoid it? Something I shouldn't do? Drives me nuts.,
if anyone has a suggestion, I am listening. Thank you.
