You have to define "MusicXML", which to me sounds like 1.0 in your case. Not like 3.0 that I suggested. I just tried to convert a fairly complex score to MusicXML 3 and back to Fin2012 again, and the following things didn't convert correctly: * Measure number positioning and font * The imported MusicXML file was respaced, resulting in different measure widths * The "Score in C" setting wasn't preserved. * The vertical height settings around expression enclosures were not identical. * Whiteouts didn't convert * Shape articulations and shape expression didn't convert But most of the music formatting is preserved, such as page format, text fonts, staff sizes and distance, expressions positioning, smart shape positioning, etc etc. What is NOT preserved with MusicXML at all is how the document is organized internally, such as metatools, categories, etc. Best regards, Jari Williamsson _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
