I probably did use 1.0. But the list you outlined is plenty to keep me from using that to collaborate with others. MusicXML could work in the very early "sketch" stages of a collaboration. But, for example, if I want to send the file to the drummer to see if he has any suggestions about the exact notation, I expect that would be a disaster. I would crate a PDF so that I could be certain what he is seeing is what I intended. But then, of course, he cannot make any adjustments and send it back to me.
In my book, collaboration requires a transparent means of information exchange. You don't want to get hung up on technical details when you are trying to collaborate on a composition. It has always been this way when authoring white papers, for example. I have written dozens, if not hundreds, of papers jointly with other authors. We never had to discuss the word processor -- only the subject matter of the article. MakeMusic does not understand collaboration, period.
