Why?

To save people the trouble of learning to read
transpositions? To keep pianists happy within
their limitations?

How about those of us who feel very strongly that
we want to see EXACTLY what the players in front
of us see? (And who have put in the necessary
time to be able to read transpositions as well as
the more unusual clefs?)
