I honestly don't think the HIGs were ever written for the Internet, where outside 
people could influence window orders.

I don't like that Fire brings windows over Eudora even tho Fire is in the background.

And even within Fire, as I am typing to one person, part of it ends up in the new 
window.

I would rather have new windows show up as the #2 fire window.

or, make it smart.  if I have shown no key entry into the front window for x amount of 
time (x to be determined) then show the new window in the front.

In any case, I don't think Apple's HIG always apply.

Even Eudora is a pain in the butt when I am writing an email and it auto checks and 
WHOOSH here come 50 new windows on top of the one I am editing.  This is good human 
interface?
