Well I can send you my prefs, but the test I did earlier was option 1 (leave as are)
and the buddy who sent me the message does not have any overrides and his message did
come on top of the window I was typing in.
Now maybe the issue is the definition of "new messages". Does that mean ANY message
from a user, or only ones that cause new windows to open?
