Hey all on the development team, especially Colter:

I think the way Fire's windows operate is wonderful, especially considering that I 
have the ability to set my own preferences for new windows.  I suggest that you don't 
mess with new windows popping up behind others or anything else.  The only suggestion 
that I've heard on this list that I would find acceptable for avoiding the "part of my 
typing goes into the new window on accident" problem is the one about behaving like 
ICQ and flashing the user's icon upon new message until I choose to have the window 
open with the message.
