It only does this if you tell it to.  If you don't like it, don't tell it

Honestly, how much of a problem is that?  Do you have new windows cropping
up *that* frequently?

The latter could be done, but not the former.

If that's what you've told Eudora to do, that's what it should do.  I don't
use Eudora, so I'm not familiar with its operation.
