Boy that's a tough one. Look on Ebay at first gen Camaros and Firebirds, but only look at COMPLETED auctions. This will give you an idea of what stuff is REALLY selling for (as oposed to what people are asking). I would say $16K on the low end and $25K on the high end...only thing detracting from it's value is the lack of original motor...oh and some folks won't like the color, but it is so well done many would overlook that color...except for Glenn. If you can;t get $20K for it I would hold on to it...

Looks pretty nice. I would put it on ebay and put a $20k reserve on it.
A 68 400 4 speed convertible should be able to sell very nicely on there.

Do you all have an opinion on the value of a car that I might be selling? Here are the specs:

   68 400 4spd convertible
   85,000 original documented miles
PHS documented 400 but the block is a 77 400 with 215 heads (330 horse/big car)
Restored last summer with 80% of the car dissasembled.
   New interior, new top
   Power top that works
restored 15 inch rally II's with new Bfgoodrich rubber
   new flowmaster exhaust
original color seamist green, painted verdoro green. ppg clear coat wet sanded a few body gaps are larger than should be. hood/fender alignment worst cosmetic part of the car
new clutch, disc brake upgrade and vintage air added
engine was recently rebuilt and runs well

Please see photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ and give me your opinion on how hard it will be to sell and what amount it should likely go for.

I am only selling to possibly get another one that I like more. Thanks for any input.

  Joel
