Another way of looking at this is the Ford filter will keep the Ford
fender-mounted solenoid from getting lonely!

Thanks for the info. My engine builder told me to get a remote filter
housing that accepts a ford filter because the ford filter has the
bypass in the filter and I don't have to worry about the fixture at
