Many years ago I had a vibration problem that turned out to be an out of round wheel. It took quite a long time to track it down. The tire people I dealt with at the time claimed to fix it by "truing" the tire (shaving off the high spot). It wasn't found until I had the tires dismounted and checked all the rims for runout. Once the wheel was replaced, the problem was solved. David
