A friend bought a car that had a "con rod knock" ,so he got it really cheap.
Fixed the "knock" by wedging a 2x4 between the frame and the loose exhaust.

there`s nothing that's too simple....after working on my tranny for
'leaks' that made the car smoke over 80 mph (on acceleration) ,and
people telling me it smelled like ATF...
I rebuilt tranny 2 times, once with another case...re sealed it several
times before...at a total of close to $3000...
I found the problem ....it was an old dip stick that was weak in the ZZ
area and slightly pushed out ,let engine oil drip to the exhaust....
$14.00 solved it...and no labor...just pull it out ,replace with new!

Thanks for the input, I will start pulling tires and checking them
out...HOPE IT WORKS!!! I will sure feel like an idiot if that is what it
is. It's just too easy...for all the hair I have pulled so far...
I still am going ahead with the front end kit, the company I am
considering is performance Suspension Technology, Here's the kit

Anybody do business with these guys before? Am I missing anything that
the kit doesn't include that anybody recommends?
