I had similar vibration after I switched to a Hay Steel flywheel.  If
its a motor rotational balance issue you should have several strong
harmonic at like 800 1600 3200 rpms

Thanks for the responses.

To answer the questions:

- car vibrates in neutral, but vibes become more pronounced as RPM  
rises. There's a "sweet spot" around 2000-2500 where the vibration  
seems less intense.

- car vibrates at idle, around 800 RPM

- Transmission -- 4-speed Richmond manual

One thing I've noticed -- the vibration rattles the dashboard (I can  
hear the car keys jingle!) when I let go of the clutch a little too  
soon, so I tend to over-correct with the gas pedal.
