Jim, The major problem is on the highway at 50 + mph when it gets to 235 degrees. Around town, stop and go, it generally stays under 215 degrees. Not good but acceptable. Terry, The BeCool aluminum I am looking at is the cheaper version which sells for about $300. The really nice version you mentioned is just too high buck for me to justify. The price of a new 3 row reproduction is about $300 also. A new 4 row is quite a bit more. The path I may follow is to have the radiator recored by a local shop due to variances in core width of the standard radiators. To insure the shoud will fit perfectly he can recore with a standard 3 row or a higher efficient 3 row that has tighter finning. I don't have the prices yet.
