Thanks to all for their advice on my highway overheating problems on my 67 326 Bird. I just want to pass along the end results. I decided to buy a direct replacement Big Block BeCool Eliminator radiator from Jegs. There were a couple of minor mounting issues which were solved by some trimming of the lower edge of the shroud and slight radiator mounting flange modifications. The radiator performs exactly as desired, lowering my highway temps from 235 degrees to 185 degrees. A terrific change, even the the temperature inside the car is greatly reduced with the air from the cowl vents cool instead of feeling like the heater was on. I drove the car about 140 miles today, probably the most enjoyable drive in years.
