Gal at work drove her Buick to quite a bit past 200K and her Chevy Pickup to
something approaching 200K.    Both looked like new when she replaced them.
Guess what she bought to replace them..... Toyo RAV4.  Makes me want to beat my
head against a wall.  Friend bought an early 90's pathfinder with about 90K on
it and in the couple years he had it spent $1000 on AC and $2000 on injector
work.  During the same time I was driving my S-10 with 160K+ on it and spent
maybe $250 on repairs.  His pathfinder is long gone but my S-10 is still
chugging along with 190K on it now.

What do you expect when the person in charge of destroying Olds
was given the job at Pontiac (Olds wasn't tired but driven into
the ground by bad marketing). This what happens when the marketing
people are not "car" people. By the way my last three Buicks have
been fantastic cars. Can you imagine a firebird with the Grand
National engine in it?
