I've been running re-used stock motor mounts on my 69 vert since 2001
when I swapped in the 455 and 2004R with no issues. Did the entire
Power Tour that year and have put on quite a few more miles since. Still good.

I am considering getting the "mity mounts" Ames has in their catalog. Does
anyone have any experience with failures when reusing your old mounts vs new
stock mounts vs. mity mounts? I am putting in a 455 so a little worried
about all that torque on those 2 little bolts...
