Again, the stock setup should be fine too. My 67 now has a pretty much
stock 428, M-21 and 3.55's. I use a stock clutch.

The biggest deal is comfort. A stiff, high performance clutch will get
real old real fast pumping it during traffic / parades /  general
cruising.

Then you'll walk with a limp or have one big left leg....

The biggest reason for a high perf. /  racing clutch is just for that.

Back to drag racing, slicks etc. under high stress, you need it to hold.


Not to repeat, but your tires will be the weak link in the friction
contest
