I am 99% sure that the RX loop is linked to RX1 and not a particular ANT port regardless if it is RX1 or RX2

The only down side of using ANT1 on 6M for RX2 is that you can not take
advantage of the 6M preamp that you may have installed on the RX1 in/out
ports.

Richard,

Due to the way the antenna form works, I would recommend doing what Tim
suggested. Just change the 70cm RX1 Antenna selection to something other
than ANT1. This will not affect the fact that 70cm must be received on the
70cm plug. This will allow you to use ANT1 for 6m on RX2.

So how do I get to VAC from 70 cm on rx2? I want run VAC on 70 cm and
listen on 6 m.

Also, the console shows TX:ANT1 when RX1 is on 70 cm. Why is that?

One thing I forgot to add. The correct antenna assignments are
shown on
the console when you have V and or U on RX1 and/or RX2.

There are known issues with the way the Antenna form "works" from a
presentation standpoint. So the "why" is a deficiency.

But I am running VAC out on 70 cm rx 1. How do I output audio from RX2?
I need 70 cm to be on rx1.
And why, in the original setup, does TX antenna show to be ANT1 when
it
is really the 70 mc port?

Since the V/U antennas are fixed (not selectable), you do not set
them
and consequently they will not show up assigned to RX1 or RX2.
All you have to do is set the Antenna form to Expert mode, on 6m
set RX1
to ANT-1 (2 or 3) and it will be displayed on VFO-A. Turn on RX2 and
select 70cm as the band and it will show up in VFO-B

Running flex5000/rx2/vubox/tuner and 2.0.22

I have my 6m antenna coming in the ant1 port and 70 cm antenna into
the
70cm port.
I want to listen on both 70 cm and 6m at the same time. When I try
to
set rx2 input to antenna 1 it tells me that antenna 1 is in use by
RX1. RX1 is tuned to 70 cm. How do I do this?
Also, the panel shows TX:ANT1 when I would think it would show 70cm
antenna...
Thanks,

Richard W5SXD
