It might be OK on Vista, but I am running a workstation Standard version of
Sever 2008 MS Windows Build 6001 with SP1 built in. It sure does not work
out fine there. Later this year, once it is in production I and others are
very likely to be switching to Windows7 and those sorts of fixes are even
less likely to work in there, as quite a few rules in that one are changing
(and although painful, the changes are decidedly for the greater good).
Rather than adding 3rd party involvement I am primarily seeking to have the
.lwo support work directly as it appears it should. I and a group of others
already have a modeller that works fine, and somewhere between about 50 and
100 aircraft to set up for FG that are actively developed in .lwo format, we
just can't get them to show up as we have been lead to understand they
probably should. It's already going to be a long and complicated job if it
had worked straight away.
