I'm running v0.9.8 compiled from CVS checkout. OS is
Fedora Core 2. At almost exactly 20 second intervals,
I hear what sounds like an engine "sputter", or better
yet, a crackle. I used to think it was a problem with
hard drive or memory access, until I realized last
night that it occures every 20 seconds (+/- less than
1 second). Also, the Cessna 172 pitches up when I have
back pressure on the joystick, or downward if there is
forward pressure. Plane is virtually impossible to
control when on final at 1500-1700 RPM and 65 knots.
Stall horn beeps as well.
I get the crackle sound on other aircraft (737, Piper
Cherokee Warrior II), without the pitching up/down).
A particularly annoying problem since the C172 is
affected most.
Any ideas? I thought maybe the C172 needs fuel mixture
adjustments??? The regularity of this is uncanny!
