Heh, I might understand this stuff yet. That would explain why the C310 is easier for me. > It sounds to me like there are issues with your controller(s). Well as I say I have wondered on the controller too. Not to get in a comparison war or bring up a dirty word. But I tried the controller in MS Flight Sim 98 using the same controller and a C172R and still at KSFO at dawn and told it light winds. Seemed much easier on the take off roll to control although I did still need some rudder as all say I would. Handling in the air (I didn't have my cheat sheet) was still a little tough (since I wasn't trimming w/o my cheat sheet) but manageable and not as tough as FlightGear. Don't get me wrong here - I love my Flightgear - I'm just trying to draw a comparison on flight models and get some feel for what is shaky on the controller. This is Saitek Cyborg EVO Force - could it be the force part since Flightgear doesn't support force and MS does causing issues - or does FlightGear support force??? Thanks for the flying help. bk ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: The Future of Linux Business White Paper from Novell.
