Heh,  I might understand this stuff yet.  That would explain why the C310 is 
easier for me.

Well as I say I have wondered on the controller too. Not to get in a comparison 
war or bring up a dirty word.  But I tried the controller in MS Flight Sim 98 
using the same controller and a C172R and still at KSFO at dawn and told it 
light winds.  Seemed much easier on the take off roll to control although I did 
still need some rudder as all say I would.  Handling in the air (I didn't have 
my cheat sheet) was still a little tough (since I wasn't trimming w/o my cheat 
sheet) but manageable and not as tough as FlightGear.  Don't get me wrong here 
- I love my Flightgear - I'm just trying to draw a comparison on flight models 
and get some feel for what is shaky on the controller.

This is Saitek Cyborg EVO Force - could it be the force part since Flightgear 
doesn't support force and MS does causing issues - or does FlightGear support 
force???
