Yes > Are they all centered when you have you controller centered? Yes. The one thing I noticed (and this is true in Windows Game Controller properties as well) is that when I first start either properties in game controller or when I start flight gear throttle will be at half throttle. As soon as I touch the joystick or move it then everything centers and goes to 0 as it should. > Do they move right when you move your joystick? Is the rudder axis > centered? Mine is a USB - doesn't require anything special there I don't think? > Might be your FORCE version does NOT use this predefined XML file? Does the above about internal properties show me it is using the correct xml file. > 3. > How does the Cessna fly if you unplug your joystick and use the mouse? > Or even better, ask a fried who ownes another joystick to test it with > FlightGear/the Cessna. Actually haven't tried the mouse but I have a laptop on with FlightGear on it too and was thinking about trying the Joystick on the Laptop as the Laptop has more processing power and I'm wondering if even though my framerates and responsiveness seem good if it could be the desktop just doesn't have enough power to do it all. bk ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: The Future of Linux Business White Paper from Novell.
