This suggest that x is running. You can try out different video resolution and drivers For example when trying out k12LTSP, the client monitor didn't get proper refresh rates so i had to put different configurations on the / opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf like uncommenting #X_MODE_0 = 640x480 25.175 640 656 752 800 480 490 492 525 - hsync -vsync to test for 640x480 res or uncommenting #SCREEN_02 = shell and pressing Ctrl + Alt + 2 in client and check if shell is working. > When I checked out the K12LTSP documentation, I found it > stating that in such conditions, the XSERVER service (gdm, kdm, xdm) may not > be running or listening on the 177 port. I mean superman because u never feel u are working on a slow client. > > -- > _______________________________________ > > Abhishek Singh > > Fedora Core 6 has released!!
