Hey Abhishek,

First thing, if you have a grey screen with a mouse pointer on it, it means
that your XSERVER is running well and there is no problem with that, so the
problem might be in your GDM configuration. Further as Bibek Suggested
uncomment SCREEN_02 and go to /tmp/mnt and go through your xorg file to see
what the errors are there in the dump file that is causing your workstations
to fail. Next thing that you could do is see that kernel message in your
server to find out if there is any service that is failing to give the
display in your workstation. And yes if you are using old workstations, you
might want to comment the GLX support line in lts.conf and just in case if
you have new computers around that have good video card, you might want to
boot these as workstations just to see whether it works or not.

Ya, try putting VESA as XSERVER and if it still doenot work, well the idea
could be to reinstall the whole thing and try over again.
