Dear Bibek and Shishir,
Thanks for your support regarding the K12LTSP project. Actually I
successfully configured it today without commenting the
SCREEN_XXinstruction in the /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf. Rather I
changed the
MOUSE_PROTOCOL to "auto",
added
SCREEN_01 = shell
SCREEN_02 = startx
SCREEN_03 = telnet 192.168.0.254
and did a bit changes with the /etc/hosts and /etc/resolve.conf files, and
finally I got the X server running on the thin client. I was able to login
successfully. But now the problem is with the NFS server which after a few
seconds it stops responding. When I checked out the 1st screen
[CTRL]+[ALT]+[F1], and tried to work on the shell, I got the messages that
NFS server is not responding, and the process is still trying to continue
and wait for the NFS recovery. When I checked out the NFS service status on
the server, it showed up well running up. I checked the /etc/exports file,
it's all well, the showmount 127.0.0.1 command also doesn't show any
problem. Now this NFS problem is bugging me.
I hope I'll get a solution to this problem too. Thanks a lot.
