Per Jim’s recent post,

I went ahead and split the repositories (no symlink’d repos) as well as created
a new one for the eventual upcoming 2.0.

Also, I added a simple index file to help visitors browsing those repositories
more easily navigate to the HTML pages.

On the administration side….

When packages are added or updated, the default repository (at present) is
“latest”. To add or update packages for the other repositories, you will need
to specify the repository desired using command line options. It is easy to do,
just see built-in help for performing operations on repositories other than the
configured default.

Also, the default repo is the only one that self-updates, indexes, etc. If we
want any of the others to do that as well, we will need to update the cron-job
slightly.

On a side note, I will probably update the HTML template to make it obvious
which repository is being viewed when below the primary index page for the
repositories. I will probably also add a navigation link back to the Repository
List as well.
