No code gets accepted unless it is reviewed by a human.
I see on forums that people quote output from an AI as a "proof" from an "expert" that they are right. Like in any other topic, self-confidence gained from the help - and praising words! - of an AI will make people think they can write, debug and fix software when they cannot - and neither can the AI. But until their incompetence becomes obvious, I predict that the poor human editors, whom you mention, will drown under the flood of change requests to be reviewed and either flee from the project or seriously filter from whom they accept change requests.
Such a filter can be: "no submissions in which AI was used in any way". That's pretty easy to grasp although not a good one. A good one would be "no submissions from incompetent programmers, even if helped by an AI" but it's exactly incompetent programmers who won't notice that they're incompetent (that's the "Dunning-Kruger effect").
