Firstly, let me say hello to the members of this mailing-list, it's
the first message of the computer hobbyist waiting for the 1.0 release
that I am.

Here in France, I found a quick user's guide of Nec computers,  with a
copyright mention for  2005 (in fact, november of that year, so it's
pretty recent). There's no computer model specified, because the
manual covers many models from Nec. Last but not least, Page 1 reads
amongst others that Freedos is a trademark of James F. Hall, founder
and coordinator of the FreeDos project. Later in the booklet, it's
told that some computers are shipped with FreeDos, with some very
basic information about the C:/ command prompt. So, it happens in
France, too :)
