Separately from MS-DOS, FreeDOS, or other DOS variants, since few if-any
of their EMM drivers are still under maintenance, and as some have never
corrected BUGS! As noted in my drivers' README, I now recommend JEMMEX
and JEMM386 only, for systems that need an EMM driver's features (0B000-
0B7FF upper memory, DPMI/VCPI/"protected mode", etc.). For such tasks,
Japheth IS "The ONLY guy in town", as we say!!

V4.49/V4.95 EMM386 (V6.22/V7.10 MS-DOS) do not handle many "Virtual DMA"
options properly, and have not since 1994 when I began using such calls.
UIDE/UIDEJR do Virtual-DMA "locks"/"unlocks" and use the returned "lock"
32-bit buffer address. I would NOT rely on other "Virtual DMA" options
if using MS-DOS EMM386, since they still FAILED in 2004 when Lucho and I
created the first UDMA driver!
