It's probably just buggy and wasn't fully tested. I wouldn't pin any
huge hopes on it.

Unfortunately no. Like I said, I'm terminally useless when it comes to
complicated things, and networking is always complicated.

So your best bet is one of the following:

1). Check the Sabretooth sources.
