Excellent comments and as for ANYONE who uses their voice or their body will tell you, Smoking is not good, in any form, in any way. Something that has never been assessed is how much relaxation of the central support musculature (diaphragm to hips) occurs and does this contribute to possible back problems through overuse of the dreaded substance weed.
Ray, I have been meaning to ask if you have tried chelation therapy for the lead and mercury. I have heard of many positive results from others' personal experience and there is much positive anecdotal information around as well.
