> By the way, would this 120 GB 5400 RPM Hitachi HD work with a desktop
> computer (PC) circa 2001?

If the Hitachi HD is an IDE/ATA (also know as PATA) - which it will be if it
works in your Pismo - you'll simply need an adaptor from 'desktop-size' IDE/ATA
connectors and molex power (i.e. the data cable cable and power cable plug
inside your desktop machine) to 'laptop-size' IDE/ATA connector. In the UK,
they're about £6 from Maplins. A laptop HD won't be very fast compared to the
same vintage of desktop HD but it will work. (I've put a Pismo's HD in my
G4/400 this way.)
