I removed the PRAM battery some time ago. I need to replace it. The
power button is working fine. It all of a sudden started doing it a
few days ago, then seemed to come out of it for a single boot-up/shut-
down cycle, then went in even worse. Right now it seems to be working
again.
  So far, so good. I need to get a couple of 512 MB RAM sticks (right
now it's running on 256, which is barely acceptable).
